   B.A.S.E.A. Appointment for Mike Bradshaw

B.A.S.E.A. Appoints Mike Bradshaw to the Board of Directors

Mike Bradshaw has 17 years of aviation management experience particularly related to ground support equipment operations and engineering capacities. Mike heads up Amicus VMS Ltd. and provides vehicle asset management systems from the Reading, UK based Company. At the recent AGM of BASEA, Mike was voted to serve as a board member of this non- profit making trade association. Mike will use his experience and contacts to the benefit of the association. He will concentrate on support systems, including all aviation sector GSE maintenance and aircraft servicing equipment. Amicus VMS Ltd is one of the UK leading vehicle asset management systems suppliers providing accurate information for all types of motorised GSE (Ground Service Equipment) within the airport environment.

The Amicus VMS (Vehicle Management System) unit utilises some of the latest technologies including GSM and GPRS; working in tandem with a core data logger which collates accurately calibrated vehicle data. Each driver operating the vehicle is identified by means of a dedicated touch key, from a Health & Safety perspective this is particularly useful as vehicles can then only be operated by authorised drivers. This information provides operators with critical data covering key areas of productivity and utilisation and thus increasing overall profitability.
